Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework that makes instruction appealing to and usable by as many learners as possible. This course serves as an introduction to UDL. First, you will learn what UDL is and how it can benefit learners. From there, you will explore the three principles of UDL and discover how to apply those principles to your practice. In an optional capstone assignment, you will use what you've learned to make your own instructional materials more inclusive. This course, intended for educators in all subjects and grade levels, covers the new UDL 3.0 guidelines.
In this course, you will:
Learners will earn 6 SCECHs for completing the self-paced activities in the course. The course also contains an optional, facilitator-graded assignment that learners can choose to complete for an additional 4 SCECHs.
