About This Course
Schools can be an ideal environment for viruses to spread and, at the same time, children are among the groups that are most impacted by the flu. In this proactive course, you will learn to keep your students, your staff, and yourself healthy by recognizing characteristics of influenza and participating in prevention strategies. You will learn how the flu spreads, who is most vulnerable, and how to protect those populations through vaccinations and proper sanitizing methods.
In this course, you will:
- Understand how the flu virus spreads and different flu categories
- Recognize who is most vulnerable to flu symptom dangers,
- Practice prevention strategies including yearly vaccinations and proper hand washing.
