About This Course
How can we align standards, curricula, assessments, and tasks so that we can effectively differentiate and scaffold learning? It is generally acknowledged that differentiating instruction is the catalyst for true learning. Fostering and sustaining this type of environment requires both intentional planning and being willing and able to adjust, in-the-moment, based on the needs of the individual and collective learners. Let’s explore ways to enhance learning for all students regardless of where they enter the learning process.
In this course, you will:
- Read and analyze current practices
- Create plans of action
- Document learning that results in all students accessing and engaging in discipline specific thinking and learning through scaffolding, differentiated instruction, and gradual release of responsibility.
