Michigan Virtual’s inaugural webinar will be available at 7 p.m. on May 20 when University of Michigan associate professor Barry Fishman presents The Next National Educational Technology Plan: Implications for Learning Online.
In this session, Fishman, who served as a co-author of the new National Educational Technology Plan, will describe the process of developing the plan and describe its major components. The discussion will focus in particular on the implications the plan has for the near- and long-term future of learning and teaching online.
The May webinar will kick off a series of monthly webinars on all subjects related to online learning. On June 17, North Carolina’s 2009 Online Teacher of the Year will present The Psychology Behind Teacher Tone at 7 p.m.
